BISSELL BREAKS GROUND ON BRIGHAM BUILDING
Speculative Project Catapults Next Phase of Development on North Community House Road

CHARLOTTE, NC (August 27, 2015) – Bissell has started construction of a speculative 287,507-square-foot office building in Ballantyne Corporate Park. The Brigham Building, named in memory of Dr. Craig Brigham, will be located at 11625 North Community House Road and overlook the 12th hole of The Golf Club at Ballantyne. The ten-story project, which marks the first building since the completion of the North Community House Road bridge, is set for completion by November 2016.

Amy Davis Joins BRG as Sr. Space Planner

Charlotte, NC — August 21, 2015 — Amy Davis of Charlotte, North Carolina, has joined BRG’s Workplace Management Services team as a Senior Space Planner. In this role, Amy will serve BRG’s clients by developing and presenting strategic scenarios to executive leadership, helping drive both long-term real estate objectives and the decision-making process.  Her team at BRG includes professionals who provide clients with space planning, project management, move services, and workplace strategies.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (August 17, 2015) – Northeastern University Charlotte will host a Graduate Degree
Open House at their Uptown campus on Saturday, August 29 from 10AM-1PM. In addition to showcasing the 35 degree and certificate programs available, Northeastern students, faculty and alumni will be on hand to answer any questions about pursuing a graduate degree.

Belk, Inc. Promotes Jalisia M. Davis to Manager of Store Facilities

CHARLOTTE, NC (July 28, 2015) – Belk, Inc., the largest family-owned department store in the country with its headquarters located here in Charlotte, has promoted Jalisia Davis to Manager of Store Facilities for their 300 retail locations.  She will have the primary responsibility of providing a safe and comfortable shopping and working environment for all customers and associates throughout the company’s 28 million square foot big box locations.  This will include the oversight of all repairs and maintenance of HVAC, EMS, electrical, plumbing, roofing, exterior services, vertical transportation and housekeeping.

Terracon Celebrates 50th Anniversary and 17 Years in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Terracon, a leading provider of environmental, facilities, geotechnical, and materials consulting engineering services, is honored to be celebrating its 50th anniversary this month.

Founded on April 22, 1965, Terracon traces its roots to a small engineering firm in Iowa. The firm has expanded into a nationwide operation with more than 150 offices and 3,400 employees.

Terracon's Charlotte office was established in 1998 and has grown through several acquisitions. In 2002, Terracon purchased Titan Atlantic Group, Inc. In 2009, it acquired Wright Padgett Christopher, Inc., and in 2011 it purchased Stafford Consulting Engineers. Today the office has 30 employees with a staff of engineers, scientists, and technicians.

(the "Bank"), announced today that the Bank has hired Sallie Jarosz as SVP, Commercial Real Estate Relationships Manager in the bank's Charlotte metro market. Jarosz reports to Jeff Mylton, Market President. The Bank entered the Charlotte, N.C. market with the acquisition of Bank of Commerce on July 31, 2014. The systems conversion and the branding of the current Queens Road office to HomeTrust Bank is scheduled for February 17, 2015.
