CREW Charlotte’s November Luncheon: “The Iron District”

The Revelry 701 Keswick Ave #110, Charlotte

One of Charlotte’s most significant redevelopment opportunities is taking shape at the former Charlotte Pipe & Foundry site. The Iron District is envisioned as a 55-acre, mixed-use neighborhood connecting Uptown and South End, ultimately bringing together office, residential, retail, hospitality, cultural uses, and public spaces on a site that played an important role in Charlotte’s industrial history. At CREW Charlotte’s November luncheon, attendees will hear from three leaders helping shape the project: Tommy Mann with Trammell Crow Company, representing the development perspective; Rhea Greene with Trinity Partners, leading office leasing efforts; and Sha Rana with the City of Charlotte Economic Development.   Moderated by Allen Clark, the conversation will explore the vision behind the Iron District, how the development team is approaching placemaking and phasing, and what it takes to bring a transformational project of this scale to life. Attendees can expect perspectives on the evolving office and mixed-use market, tenant and employer expectations, infrastructure and connectivity, and the role of public-private collaboration in supporting major urban redevelopment. The panel will also look ahead at how the Iron District can strengthen the connection between Uptown and South End while creating a new destination for businesses, residents, visitors, and the broader Charlotte community.   $60 per member $90 per guest     Thank you to our Sponsors
