Join CREW Charlotte and UNC Charlotte's MSRE program for an engaging Lunch & Learn designed to introduce CREW members to the fundamentals of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) investing and underwriting. This session will cover key terminology, underwriting basics, and essential investment metrics. Attendees will gain an introduction on how to quickly analyze a deal, evaluate returns, and apply these concepts to investing. The session will include a hands-on Excel exercise, where participants will calculate NOI, apply a cap rate, determine before-tax cash flow, and calculate IRR in a simple and interactive format. Whether you're new to CRE or looking to sharpen your financial analysis skills, this session will provide valuable insights and practical tools to enhance your investment knowledge.
