Safe Alliance is a Domestic Violence shelter in Charlotte that provides services to those seeking legal or protective care. Please see some information below on volunteering.
Kitchen Volunteer Shift: Volunteers serve meals to shelter clients. Could involve food prep and light cleaning, e.g. sanitize tables, chairs, coke machine, wash dishes. If comfortable working with sharp objects, volunteers may be asked to use a knife slicer, blender, etc. Wear closed toe shoes. 4 volunteers max at a time. A quick, simple background check is done a few days before your service day due to the security of the shelter facility.
