USGBC’s Women In Green
Taking control of your narrative is a mighty act, and it is the driving thought behind this year’s theme: “Self-titled.” Women are represented across the full spectrum of professional careers in the building industry. With career goals and life aspirations, we define ourselves without gendered limits.
At Women in Green, we unapologetically celebrate, sharing our experiences and honoring our impact as professionals. We acknowledge the past while defining ourselves and the future—without altering who we are or asking permission. Women in Green is a platform to gather and learn from others across fields and disciplines, generations, and job titles. In 2023, we write (or rewrite) our stories, self-titled.
This year, USGBC Carolinas convenes with leaders to celebrate in four locations on May 24: Asheville, Charlotte, Durham, and Greenville, SC. We will convene from 4-6 pm with great conversation and refreshments. Advanced Registration Required.
Approved for 1 GBCI CE
There will be multiple breakouts for small groups to share the answers to these questions.
- What does self-titled mean to you?
- What led you to a career in the green building or sustainability industry?
- What is the biggest challenge/opportunity facing sustainability in our communities?
- How are you writing your story?
