Habitat for Humanity ReStore Day with CREW Charlotte – July 2024

CREW Charlotte has an exciting upcoming volunteer opportunity at the Habitat Charlotte Region ReStore! Please see details and registration instructions below.

WHEN: July 19, 2024 from 9am -12 pm

WHERE: 1133 N Wendover Road, Charlotte, NC 28211

WHO: You may invite non-CREW members to join you, but no one under 16 is eligible to volunteer

WHAT: Volunteer groups typically help unload donated household items, organize, and clean the donations, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, and assist customers with carry-outs after purchase.

HOW MANY: 10 volunteers (as people register the site will inform you of how many spots are still available.

AGE REQUIREMENT Volunteers must be 16 or older to participate.
In addition to the Release of Liability Volunteer Waiver, all 16 & 17 year olds must print out and have a completed by a parent/legal guardian. The forms can be brought the day of the shift.

REQUIRED WAIVER INFO All participating volunteers are required to complete the Release of Liability Volunteer Waiver . Please have all volunteers fill out the waiver before their arrival to the store.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
  • Please wear enclosed shoes.
  • Please wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty.  Shorts must be finger tip length or longer. Shirts must have sleeves.
  • The ReStore Staff will provide all supplies.
  • You will have access to water and to restrooms.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS  

STEP 1: Go to the Habitat Charlotte Region Group Shift Search link: https://habitatcltvolunteers.force.com/apex/VolunteerGroupSearch

STEP 2: Enter your group ID number (2847)

STEP 3: Check the box next to the group name; Click “SELECT”

STEP 4: On the Volunteer Group Shift Search page, click “SEARCH” and your team’s scheduled shift(s) will appear. Choose the desired shift(s) and click “SELECT”

STEP 5:

NEW USER/VOLUNTEER: Click “New User” to be prompted to create a new account.

EXISTING USER/RETURNING VOLUNTEER: Your volunteer account email is your username.  If you’ve forgotten your password, you can request a new one by clicking “Forgot Your Password?”
