We are excited to feature Charlotte’s Tracy Finch Dodson, Assistant City Manager and Economic Development Director for our June Luncheon program. Tracy will share challenges she has faced as a female in traditionally male-dominated fields and then dive into “The State of Charlotte.”
Tracy has been in Charlotte for 30 years. She holds master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Harvard University. Her background in urban planning, architecture, and business operations gives her a unique view of Charlotte. Fortunately, for Charlotte, Tracy left the private sector to use her talents to tackle negotiations with professional sports franchises, building corridors of opportunity, attracting corporate relocations such as Honeywell, and charting the course of growth for the next 40 years. It is sure to be an informative and exciting talk!
