Since 2019, the Charlotte Region has welcomed more than 250 companies that have chosen to expand or relocate in the region. The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance has directly assisted over half of the companies in their decision. Combined these companies plan to add more than 8,000 jobs in our region. All told these 8,000 jobs will result in an additional 9,200 jobs in a variety of industries making a total of 17,268 jobs supported by relocations and expansions in the Charlotte Region.
An estimated $4.4B will flow through the regional economy because of these located projects and will result in a total of $990M in earnings in the regional economy over the next five years.
