About Mac McCarley
Mac McCarley is a partner with the law firm Parker Poe, where he advises local governments and others in regulatory and public policy matters. Prior to joining Parker Poe, Mac served as city attorney for the City of Charlotte for 17 years. Additionally, he is a frequent speaker on negotiation skills. In his career, he has
- Negotiated the return of an NBA franchise to Charlotte and the arena construction and operating agreements between the team and the city.
- Led the city negotiation team working with NASCAR on an agreement to construct and operate the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
- Represented the city on railroad operating and construction agreements for the initial Charlotte area transit system light rail project.
- Negotiated the contract between the city and the Democratic National Committee for the 2012 Democratic National Convention to be held in Charlotte.

Please bring your clean, in-season & professional attire for women (MUST BE ON HANGERS) to our Dress for Success Spring/Summer Clothing Drive at our March 12 CREW luncheon. Gently-worn shoes, purses and accessories such as jewelry and scarves (bring in ziploc bags please) are needed. They are especially low on purses. If you would wear it to a meeting or an interview, it is appropriate. For your convenience, cars will be located in the parking areas to accept your donations before the luncheon begins. Receipts for donations will be available.
CREW Charlotte has added SafeAlliance as a Community Partner. Please help support Safe Alliance by bringing items from their greatest needs list: all-purpose cleaner (bathroom and kitchen) and laundry detergent. Items should be standard size (not mini or wholesale warehouse size) so they can be used in their store at the shelter. You can bring your donations to the March 12th luncheon!
