SGA | NarmourWright Design is seeking a talented an Entry Level Interior Designer to join our firm in our Charlotte, North Carolina office. With over 45 years of design distinction in the Southeast, we offer opportunities for career development within an engaging and professional environment. This multi-disciplined firm offers an integrated approach to planning, architecture, interior design and landscape architecture. Our medium sized firm consists of 50 professionals across four offices in the Carolinas with a collaborative and close-knit family office culture.
This position requires working closely with a team of in-house architects, interior designers, planners, landscape architects and consultants on multiple projects with a variety of project diversity throughout the Southeast to meet scheduled deliverables. The successful candidate must be a leader, self-starter, organized, flexible and possess a strong work ethic.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA accredited program
0-3 years of experience in a professional design office
Comfortable in a support role and ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
Organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to cultivate a professional presence through competence, reliability, honesty, integrity, respect for others, positivity, and thoughtfully listening
Proficiency in Revit and Enscape
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Graphic presentation skills, including hand drawing and computer rendering
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
