Tracy and her husband\, Jesse Muñoz\, are parents to two young boys\, Jackson Boone and Wyatt.  Together\, they enjoy spending time with family and friends\, playing golf and traveling. \n  \nReshma Soni\nManaging Director Airport Affairs and Properties\nAmerican Airlines \nReshma Soni joined American in July 2023 as Managing Director for Airport Affairs and Properties.  Reshma oversees leasing and properties relationships with half of our major hubs\, including Charlotte Douglas International Airport\, and over 150 non-hub airports. \nFrom 2019 to 2023\, Reshma served as City Comptroller for the City of Chicago\, overseeing revenue enforcement and collection\, accounts payable\, insurance\, expenditures and accounting and financial reporting.  She also served as the Chief Financial Officer for Chicago O’Hare and Midway Airports from 2016 – 2029.  Reshma started her career in auditing at Deloitte and Touche in Chicago. \nBorn and raised in Chicago\, Reshma earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Michigan\, a Master of Accounting degree from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and as Master of Science in Law from Northwestern University. \n  \n  \nAmanda Zhang\nVice President of Corporate Real Estate \nAmanda Zhang is Vice President of Corporate Real Estate at American Airlines\, where she oversees relationships with all of American’s hubs and 300 non-hub airports. Amanda also oversees American’s extensive construction portfolio at airports around the system and the redevelopment and facilities operation on American’s Robert L. Crandall Campus in Fort Worth\, Texas. \nAmanda joined American in 1996 and has served numerous management roles in Corporate Real Estate\, Corporate Planning\, Strategic Alliances and Financial Planning. It will include key trends such as job and wage growth\, unemployment rates\, and the recent trajectory of labor force increases. It will also cover broader economic conditions\, including inflation trends\, consumer behavior\, and the regional economic outlook. The goal is to provide a clear picture of where the economy stands today\, highlight emerging challenges like labor shortages and productivity shifts\, and offer insight into what these developments might mean going forward. \n  \nBio\nLaura Ullrich is the director of economic research at Indeed\, leading the North American team of economists at The Hiring Lab. Prior to Indeed\, Laura was a regional economist and senior manager at the Charlotte branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. In the latter role\, she oversaw the team that produces the Richmond Fed Survey of Community College Outcomes. \nPreviously\, Ullrich was associate dean for undergraduate programs and a professor of economics at Winthrop University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia and a master’s and doctorate in economics from the University of Tennessee. \nPrior to graduate school\, Ullrich worked as a business consultant for Ernst & Young\, specializing in executive compensation determination. CREW Charlotte helps implement this by providing a mentor program. This 12 month mentor program aims to support aspiring CREW members and sponsors as well as experts in the industry wanting to give back. \n  \nThe model is basic – pairing both a mentee and seasoned real estate professional’s unique capabilities\, goals\, and strengths with one another. CREW members and sponsors are eligible for both mentor and mentee opportunities.   CREW Charlotte will assign a CREW member\, called a Mentor Champion\, to support each relationship’s progress and success by being a resource. \n  \nSuccess in today’s commercial real estate environment demands innovation and strategic thinking\, balanced with action born from experience and hard work. Our members recognize that it takes skill to navigate a successful career in an industry where women are a visible minority. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFAQ’s\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho can apply? \nAs a CREW member or sponsor\, you can apply to become a mentor or a mentee. To participate as a mentee\, you must be an active CREW member or work for a sponsor company. Non-CREW members can serve as mentors to allow maximum pairing of unique mentee needs. \n  \nWhat is the time commitment? \nThe Mentor Program requires a time commitment of 12 months. During this time period\, the mentor and mentee will set up a mutually agreed-upon communication timeline. This timeline is a requirement that the pairing speak at least once per month\, with six of these engagements being in person. \n  \nHow do I apply? \nClick here to fill out the CREW Charlotte 2026 Mentee Application \nClick here to fill out the CREW Charlotte 2026 Mentor Application \n  \nWhat will I have to guide me through the process? \nCREW Charlotte will provide each pairing with a Mentor Program Handbook. This will serve as a basis to establish an understanding of goals\, expectations\, mutual communication timeline\, and background information about each person. Based on the agreed-upon focus of each pairing\, more tailored resources will be provided. \n  \nWhat will the Mentor Champion do? \nThis person will review the initial handbook to be sure all items are addressed. They will then meet with the mentor and mentee at the 6-month mark to review the relationship. She or he will also check in on each person periodically to receive feedback.
