The Lincoln County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (LCCADV) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, organized in 1993 by citizens who were concerned about domestic violence issues. On January 9, 1995, their shelter, affectionately named Amy’s House after the local woman who inspired LCCADV into action, officially opened in a four-room former mill house, offering shelter, support services and assistance for 7-8 people.  It was a safe haven for families displaced by violence and a transitional step until they could recover, heal, empower and make plans for their future. This introductory session will be led by the Program Director, Dr. Dawn Chanland. Dawn is the MBA Director Professor of Management &Organizational Behavior in the McColl School of Business with over 25 years of business, consulting, and academic experience and over 10 teaching and research awards since the beginning of her academic career. Learn how the Authentic Leadership Program will guide you on your journey through self-discovery, arming you with the tools to achieve your full authentic leadership potential.  Lunch will be served.
